For different metal materials, the stress conditions during rolling processing are also different. For example: the surface of stainless steel materials will be deformed during rolling processing, and slipping will occur during the processing; the surface of aluminum alloy materials is easily deformed during rolling processing and the slipping phenomenon is serious; Easily deformed. Therefore, it is necessary to choose the appropriate rolling pressure according to different metal materials.

Workpiece process

The rolling depth of the thread rolling machine can be determined according to different materials and processing techniques, while the diameter of the rolling wheel should consider the specific conditions of the workpiece.

Generally, some lubricant should be added during rolling, mainly to lubricate and maintain the friction between the rolling wheel and the workpiece, and reduce the friction between the rolling wheel and the workpiece. In addition, when processing different materials, some additives can also be added to improve the quality of rolling processing.

Machining accuracy and surface roughness requirements

During the rolling process, due to the action of the cutting force, the workpiece will vibrate, resulting in a decrease in thread accuracy and poor surface roughness. However, due to the high surface roughness of the thread surface layer after rolling, the surface finish of the workpiece after processing is high.

(1) The machine tool must have high precision and high reliability, and can maintain a good stable state during the rolling process, thereby ensuring machining accuracy and surface roughness.

(2) It must have a high service life, otherwise it will increase the cost of machine tool processing.

(3) It must have good flexible processing performance. During the rolling process, the processing deformation should be reduced as much as possible to ensure the surface roughness and the dimensional accuracy of the workpiece.

Rolling processing needs to arrange the process reasonably, and select the appropriate processing parameters and cutting amount according to the workpiece material and precision level.
